BabyLog ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application ("BabyLog" or "the App").

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be crystal clear about what we DO NOT collect:

• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifying information
• No Usage Data: We do not track how you use the app, feature usage statistics, or analytics
• No Location Data: We do not access or store your location
• No Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, model information, or OS version
• No Network Activity: The app does not make any network requests or connect to any servers
• No Third-Party Tracking: We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking technologies

3. Data Stored on Your Device

BabyLog stores all data locally on your iOS device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:

• Baby profiles (name, birth date, photos)
• Feeding records (breast feeding, bottle feeding, solid food)
• Diaper change logs
• Sleep tracking data
• Developmental milestones and notes
• Photos you choose to attach to profiles or milestones

All data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Photo Library Access

BabyLog requests optional access to your Photo Library solely for the purpose of:

• Selecting photos for your baby's profile
• Attaching photos to milestone records

You can deny this permission at any time, and the app will continue to function normally. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared.

4. Third-Party Services

BabyLog does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.

The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, PhotosUI) and does not integrate with:

• Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Cloud storage services
• Social media platforms
• Any external servers or APIs

5. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your data benefits from iOS's built-in security features
• Data is protected by your device's passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID
• No data can be accessed remotely by anyone, including us
• We have no ability to access, view, or modify your data

6. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete Individual Records: You can delete any feeding, diaper, sleep, or milestone record within the app
• Delete Baby Profiles: You can delete entire baby profiles and all associated data
• Delete the App: Removing BabyLog from your device permanently deletes all data stored by the app

Since we never collect your data, there is nothing for us to delete from our servers (because we have none).

7. Children's Privacy

BabyLog is designed for use by parents and caregivers to track their children's activities. The app:

• Does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• Does not display advertisements
• Does not contain in-app purchases
• Does not have social media integration

All data about children is stored locally on the parent's or caregiver's device and is never transmitted anywhere.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
