Compass Go - Privacy Policy

Overview

Compass Go is a navigation utility app that respects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Data We Access

• Location (GPS): Used solely on-device to display coordinates, calculate distance to bookmarks, record trip routes, and determine sunrise/sunset times. Location data never leaves your device.
• Motion Sensors: Used on-device to display compass heading, bubble level, and barometric altitude. Sensor data is not stored or transmitted.

Data Storage

Bookmarks and trip records are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is never uploaded to any server.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools integrated into Compass Go.

No Account Required

Compass Go does not require registration or sign-in. There is no user account system.

Data Deletion

You can delete all stored data (bookmarks and trips) from within the app at any time, or by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL.
