DinnerDice ("we", "our", or "the app") is a family dinner decision tool that helps users decide what to eat, who cooks, and dinner activities through a dice-rolling mechanic. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

DinnerDice does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information whatsoever. Specifically, we do NOT collect:

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Usage analytics or tracking data
Device identifiers

Browsing history

3. Data Stored on Your Device

DinnerDice stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your roll history (cuisine selections, cook assignments, activity choices)
Custom cuisine lists you create
Family member names you add
App preferences (theme color, haptic settings)
Favorite roll results

This data never leaves your device. It is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and iOS UserDefaults, both of which keep data exclusively on-device.

4. Third-Party Services

DinnerDice does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or cloud services. The app contains zero network code and requires no internet connection to function.

5. Network Access

DinnerDice requires absolutely no network access. The app does not request any network-related permissions and functions entirely offline.

6. Data Security

Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted over any network, your information is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by:

Using the "Reset All Data" option in the app's Settings tab
Deleting the DinnerDice app from your device (this permanently removes all stored data)

8. Children's Privacy

DinnerDice does not collect any data from any user, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages and complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since DinnerDice collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
