FilterStudio ("we", "our", "the App") is a photo editing application for iPhone. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what FilterStudio does and does not do with your data.
The short version: FilterStudio runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
FilterStudio does not collect any of the following:
The following data is stored locally on your iPhone only, in the App's sandboxed storage. It never leaves your device.
UserDefaults on this device.FilterStudio requests two iOS permissions, both governed by the system permission dialog:
NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): used only when you actively pick a photo to edit.NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): used only when you tap Save to write an edited image back to Photos. You may decline either permission. Declining read access disables photo editing; declining add-only access disables saving. You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings → FilterStudio.
FilterStudio integrates no third-party SDKs. There are no ad networks, no analytics SDKs (Firebase / Google Analytics / Sensors / etc.), no social login, and no crash reporting beyond Apple's built-in system.
The only frameworks the App links against are Apple's own frameworks: SwiftUI, UIKit, PhotosUI, Core Image, and PencilKit.
Because no data leaves your device, there is no transit channel to attack and no remote database to breach. Your data is protected by iOS sandbox isolation and your device's hardware-backed encryption (Secure Enclave). The App requires iOS 17.0 or later, which enforces modern app sandbox guarantees.
To delete all data associated with FilterStudio, simply uninstall the App. This removes all in-app preferences and any temporary files. Photos saved to your iOS Photos library remain in your library and are managed by you.
FilterStudio does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to associate with any age group. The App is rated 4+.
If we materially change this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and update the link surfaced from the App's About / Settings screen. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
