Privacy Policy — Fonts: Cool Text Keyboard

This Privacy Policy describes how the iOS app Fonts: Cool Text Keyboard ("Fonts", "we", "our") handles information when you use the app and its bundled keyboard extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Fonts is designed to work fully on-device. We do not:

Collect, store, or transmit your typed text or keystrokes.
Operate any user account, login, or registration system.
Use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

2. Information Used Locally

The following information is processed only on your device and never leaves your iPhone or iPad:

Photo Library access — Requested only when you tap "Pick a wallpaper" inside the Themes tab. Selected images are stored locally and used solely as a keyboard background. They are never uploaded.
Local preferences — Your selected font style, theme, sticker recents, and onboarding progress are saved with iOS standard UserDefaults (in a shared App Group) so they persist across app and keyboard launches.
Keyboard "Allow Full Access" — iOS requires this permission for our keyboard extension to render custom themes, stickers, and styled fonts. Even with full access enabled, we still do not transmit any of your input off-device.

3. Children's Privacy

Fonts is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

4. Third-Party Services

Fonts does not embed any third-party SDKs that would collect personal data. The app does not perform any network requests for analytics, advertising, or telemetry.

5. Data Security

Because no data is transmitted off your device, the security of your information relies on the standard protections provided by iOS, including device passcode, sandboxing, and Data Protection. Please keep your device updated and locked.

6. Your Rights

You can revoke Photo Library or "Allow Full Access" permissions at any time in Settings → Fonts or Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Fonts. You can also delete the app to remove all locally stored preferences.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
