Gratitude Jar does not collect any personal information. All gratitude entries, mood data, and settings are stored exclusively on your device using local storage (AppStorage / JSON). No data is ever sent to external servers.
All app data (journal entries, mood gems, PIN settings, haptic preferences) is stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data. Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.
This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no network requests made by the app.
This app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is fully offline and collects no data from any user.
The shake gesture feature uses only the device's built-in accelerometer to detect motion. No sensor data is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
The optional PIN lock is stored locally on your device using AppStorage. It is never transmitted or accessible outside your device.
