TL;DR — LifeNetwork is a 100% offline personal relationship manager. We do not collect, store on any server, transmit, sell or share any of your data. Everything you create — contacts, interactions, activities, todos, anniversaries — is stored only on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the LifeNetwork mobile application ("LifeNetwork", "the App", "we") handles information. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

LifeNetwork does not collect, transmit or share any of the following:

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, Apple ID)
Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising IDs)
Location data (precise or coarse)
Usage analytics, crash reports or telemetry
Photos, contacts or any system data outside what you manually type or select within the App

The App makes no network requests. There is no account system, no login, no cloud sync, no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics SDK.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Anything you create within LifeNetwork is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, inside the App's sandbox container. This includes:

Contacts you add (name, photo placeholder, tags, source notes, birthday, custom anniversaries, phone/wechat optionally typed by you)
Interaction logs (date, type, content, mood)
Activities (title, location, participants, notes, photos you import)
Todos (title, due date, priority, linked contact)
Tags, settings (theme, language, "long-time-no-contact" threshold)

This data never leaves your device. Backing it up via iCloud Backup is controlled entirely by your iOS settings.

4. Optional User-Initiated Export

You can export your data as a JSON file via Settings → Backup. Once exported, the file is handed to the iOS Share Sheet — what happens next (save to Files, AirDrop, send via Messages, etc.) is entirely your decision. The App does not upload exported files anywhere.

5. Local Notifications

The App uses UNUserNotificationCenter (Apple's local notification system) to schedule birthday, anniversary and todo reminders. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device; no remote push servers are used. You can revoke notification permission anytime in iOS Settings.

6. Third-Party Services

None. LifeNetwork does not embed any third-party analytics, advertising, social or networking SDK.

7. Data Security

Your data sits inside the App's iOS sandbox and is protected by iOS file-level encryption when your device is locked. Because nothing is transmitted off-device, there is no transit-layer attack surface.

8. Data Deletion

Delete your data at any time by:

Tapping a contact / activity / todo and choosing Delete (cascade rules described in-app)
Settings → "Reset all data"
Or simply uninstalling the App — iOS will purge the sandbox and all associated data

9. Children's Privacy

LifeNetwork does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. There is no account, no profile, no upload — there is nothing to "collect".

10. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in the App release notes.
