1. Introduction
MoveDay ("we", "the app") is a fully offline iOS application that helps you plan and track your move. Your privacy is fundamental to how MoveDay is built. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what data the app does and does not handle.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
MoveDay does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no servers, no accounts, no analytics SDK, and no advertising network.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising ID).
- Location data of any kind (precise or coarse).
- Health, financial, or biometric information.
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry.
- Photos, contacts, calendars, or microphone input.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
Everything you create inside MoveDay — moving date, addresses, tasks, rooms, and box contents — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData (an on-device SQLite database). This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is not synced to iCloud unless Apple's standard device backup is enabled by you in iOS Settings.
- Is not accessible to MoveDay developers.
4. Third-Party Services
MoveDay does not integrate with any third-party SDK, library, or service that collects user data. There is no Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, advertising network, attribution provider, or remote configuration service in the app.
5. Network Activity
MoveDay does not initiate network requests. The app functions entirely offline. You may use it in airplane mode without any loss of functionality.
6. Data Security
All data is stored within the standard iOS application sandbox, which is protected by iOS-level encryption tied to your device passcode. Because no data leaves your device, there is no transmission to secure.
7. Data Deletion
You can erase all MoveDay data at any time:
- Inside the app: Settings → Reset All Data.
- From iOS: Long-press the MoveDay icon and choose "Remove App". Deleting the app removes all its locally stored data.
8. Children's Privacy
MoveDay is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app does not contain advertising or in-app purchases.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the app changes (for example, if a future version adds an optional feature). Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
