PersonaChat ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

Short answer: We do not collect any data from you.

Information We Do NOT Collect

PersonaChat is designed to work completely offline. We do NOT:

Collect any personal information
Track your location
Access your contacts
Upload any data to servers
Use analytics or crash reporting tools
Include advertising SDKs
Require user accounts or login

Data Stored on Your Device

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

Persona Profiles: Names, colors, personality descriptions you create
Dialogue Entries: Text content you write
Mood Logs: Mood types, intensity levels, and notes you record
Usage Statistics: Automatically generated counters (e.g., how many times you've used each persona)

Important: This data never leaves your device. We have no servers, no cloud storage, and no way to access your data.

Third-Party Services

PersonaChat does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect user data. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks:

SwiftUI (user interface)
SwiftData (local data storage)
Swift Charts (data visualization)

No network requests are made. No external services are called.

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device, your information is protected by iOS security mechanisms:

Data is stored in your app's sandboxed container
iOS encryption protects data at rest
No data is transmitted over networks

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

Delete individual items: Remove specific personas, dialogues, or mood logs from within the app
Clear all data: Use the "Clear All Data" option in Settings
Delete the app: Removing PersonaChat from your device permanently deletes all associated data

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered as we maintain no backups.

Children's Privacy

PersonaChat does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we do not collect any data at all, this applies universally.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
