📋 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Stroop Challenge mobile application ("App") handles user information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. In short: we collect no personal data whatsoever.

Stroop Challenge is a fully offline cognitive training game based on the Stroop Effect. The App requires no account, no sign-in, and makes zero network requests during normal operation.

🚫 Information We Do NOT Collect

Stroop Challenge does not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, device ID)
• Location data (GPS or approximate)
• Camera, microphone, or photo library data
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to third parties
• Advertising data or tracking information
• Health or fitness data
• Financial or payment information

📱 Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only using Apple's UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device:

• Best score, best accuracy, and fastest average reaction time
• Total rounds played, total correct and incorrect responses
• Game preference settings (difficulty, mode)

All stored data is deleted permanently when you uninstall the App.

🔌 Third-Party Services

Stroop Challenge does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers. No data is shared with any third party.

🔒 Data Security

All game data is stored locally on your device within the App's sandboxed storage container, protected by iOS system-level security mechanisms. Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of network-level data interception.

🗑️ Data Deletion

You can delete all locally stored game data at any time by:

• Using the Reset Stats option within the App's settings
• Uninstalling the App from your device (all UserDefaults data is removed automatically)

👶 Children's Privacy

Stroop Challenge does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. Because the App collects no personal data from any user, it is safe for users of all ages. The App contains no advertising, in-app purchases, or social features.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised policy at this URL and update the "Last Updated" date below. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
