You can clear all cached data at any time from the Settings screen, or simply delete the app.
The app makes anonymous, read-only HTTP requests to one external service:

historical events. Requests contain only the date being queried and a User-Agent header. No personal

The app does not embed any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social SDKs.
All cached content is stored in the app's private sandbox provided by iOS. Network requests use HTTPS. Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to leak should you lose your device — uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored content.
To delete all data stored by the app, simply uninstall Today in History from your device. There is no server-side data to request deletion of, because we never receive any.
Today in History is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is rated for general audiences.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
